Frame names and poster labels are useful starting points, but the actual sheet measurement is the reliable reference for selecting a frame, magnetic bar or rail width.

Collection
Black, white, oak-effect and slim metal profiles for standard prints, photography and larger poster formats, organised by visible finish and frame size.
View CollectionLay the print flat on a clean surface and measure its full width and height in millimetres. Do not measure only the visible artwork or assume that a border has already been allowed for, because the complete sheet is what must fit the selected hardware.
Compare those figures with the note attached to each product variant. A named A-format should correspond to the stated dimensions, while formats such as 50 × 70 cm should be checked directly because trimming, production tolerance and existing mounts can alter the final sheet.
If the print is already mounted, measure the mount as the item that must fit. If it is rolled, allow it to relax safely before taking a final measurement rather than forcing the paper flat with objects that could mark it.
Work through the dimensions in a fixed order so width and height are not accidentally reversed.
Write both millimetre measurements beside the print and note the intended orientation.
Select a frame for a four-sided perimeter, or a hanger when poster sides should remain visible.
Read the variant note and choose the frame size or rail width that corresponds to the sheet.
Allow for the complete product, nearby furniture and spacing around adjacent pieces.
An unusual sheet does not become a standard format simply because its dimensions are close.
Keep the border inside the measured dimensions and decide how much should remain visible.
Treat the mount's outer dimensions as the required fit and confirm the selected frame supports it.
Measure the top edge directly and choose a rail that supports the width without excessive overhang.
Send the exact sheet dimensions, intended orientation and preferred display system so the available options can be discussed.
